BROOMALL–At the March 20th meeting of the Broomall Rotary Club, Russell Elementary School kindergarten teacher, Tracy Paine, was awarded the annual Vocational Services Award.

The award was created several years ago to honor members of the community. Paine was selected by Marple Newtown School District Superintendent Merle Horowitz.

Paine was presented with the award by her Principal Diane Smith who commented on Paine’s many outstanding qualities that have enriched the lives of her students.

After the presentation Horowitz presented the Rotary with an update of the many building projects at the school district.
