At the April 3^rd meeting of the Broomall Rotary, Paul Jang was presented with the Student of the Month Award. He was introduced for the award by John Beltrante, assistant principal of Marple Newtown High School, having been selected by the Visual and Performing Arts Department. Paul’s parents are Jae and Chong Jang. His mother and sister, Lisa Jang, were there for the presentation.

Paul is a member of the high school band and jazz band, playing both clarinet and saxophone, along with being a drum major for the last two years. He also participates in the pit orchestra for Marple Newtown’s spring musicals. 

Paul excels in academics, taking a variety of AP courses. He will be attending college in the fall having applied to Penn State University, Drexel University, and the University of Pittsburgh. Paul appeared quite humble regarding his many achievements, only describing himself as a logical thinker and a hard worker.
