Kehler’s Youth Cheer Are National Champions
BROOMALL–The Kehler's Dragons All Star Cheerleaders attended the Mardi Gras National Championship in Hershey, PA, recently, and it turned out to be an extremely successful day for their team.
In particular, the Youth Squad placed first, winning the 2012 National Championship Title. In the three years since Kehler’s Dragons have been competing, they have quickly moved to gain national attention, winning several National Championships already.
The Dragons are just one part of the great family of children’s activities offered at Kehler’s Gymnastics Center in Broomall.
“We are very proud of all of our girls but our Youth Squad is doing particularly well this season,” said Russ Kehler, Director of Kehler’s Gymnastics. “This squad has already won the Division Grand Championship at Cheer for Charity in Delaware, first place at the Christiana Cheer Classic, first place at the Extreme Winter Open in York, and several other titles just this season alone! Winning this National Title was very much the icing on an already sweet cake.”
The Dragons consists of girls from ages 3.5-18 years of all abilities, which means even beginners are welcome. On May 10th and 11th Kehler’s All Stars Cheerleading hosted their annual Placement Days.
This is a time when any girl from the community is welcome to stop by and participate in the official Dragons Evaluations, to be placed on one of their cheer squads for the coming season.
Regardless of experience all girls who participate will find a place on one of the Dragons All Stars Cheerleading Squads. Parents should call first for information on days and times based on ages. For more information call 610-359-9999 or go to mykidsgym.com.
