Holmes, PA – PathWays PA will be commemorating the upcoming Martin Luther King Day by organizing a food drive for families in crisis. The drive is being coordinated by the team of AmeriCorps VISTAs at PathWays PA, and will support the Center for Families, a residential facility for women and families transitioning from situations of homelessness and abuse. The Center is hoping to receive a supply of cereals, snack foods, and non-perishable items.
Donations will be accepted from now through Martin Luther King Day on January 21st at PathWays PA’s main offices, located at 310 Amosland Road in Holmes. The VISTA team will be present during standard business hours to receive all donations and thank donors for their support on behalf of the Center for Families. All are encouraged to join PathWays PA in this endeavor, and help commemorate the memory of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the ideals he stood for by helping serve those most in need.
