On Tuesday, June 5, 2012, the Marple Newtown High School Choir and Orchestra members and their parents enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner at the Paxon Hollow Country Club in Broomall, PA sponsored by the Marple Newtown Choir Parents Association.  Awards were presented and the graduating members were honored.  The new Choir Officers and new Select Choir members for the 2012-2013 school year were announced.  Prizes were raffled off and the students enjoyed dancing to music by a DJ.  The Marple Newtown High School Choir Program is under the direction of Christopher Vogel.  The Marple Newtown High School Orchestra Program is under the direction of Elizabeth Reese.

Choir Officers for the 2012-2013 school year are:   President - AliceTran, Vice President - Jessica  Dragonetti, Student Conductor - Vincent Raspa, Historian - Carly Montagnolo, Librarians - Marissa Daniels-Benditt and Megan MacDonald, Soprano Section Leader - Nora Murphy,  Alto Section Leader - Angel Wu, Tenor/Bass Section Leader - Derrik Sananikone.

Choir Graduates are: Sarah Agar, Samantha Andricola, Jason Armstrong, Emily Battista, Ansu Bensen, Nicole Butler, John Cramer, Chelsea DiPompeo, Lauren Downey, Derrinique Elliott, Jasmine Goodwin, Adam Helker, Joseph  Howanski, Amanda Jones, Wil Kauffman, Kyle Keebler, Melissa Kelly, Rebecca Lin, Siobhaun Manion, Jacob  Mattern, Brianna McBean, Alyssa Ochlak, Gia Santivasi, and  Jessica Smith.

Orchestra  Graduates  are:  Claudia Cho, Jeanette Ding, Kaan Guler, Zachary Hiller, Lisa Kim, Soo Min Kim,  Gina Lee, Rebecca Lin, Ji Oh No, Alyssa Ochlak, Judy Tran, and  Michelle Ho.
