MNHS Choir Update: Choral Workshops, New England Trip, Cabaret Night
NEWTOWN SQUARE–The Marple Newtown High School Choir, under the direction of Christopher Vogel, held a Choral Workshop all day on Friday, Feb. 3, ending the day with an evening concert.
The MNHS Choir Parents Association sponsored this workshop and invited Cindy L. Bell, a professor at Hofstra University, to be the guest conductor. The MNHS Choir also recently enjoyed a trip to Rhode Island and Vermont, from Feb. 15-19. They visited Providence, RI, and participated in a full day choral workshop with Barrington High School, ending the evening with a concert and had lunch at Fire & Ice Japanese Restaurant.
In Vermont, they spent a day of skiing and snowboarding. They also toured a Cidar Mill, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory and the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory and had lunch at the New England Culinary Institute.

It will be an evening of fine Italian food and feature more than 20 musicians singing show tunes, jazz and more. Tickets are $15 each and are available online at www.TigerMusic.org or at the door.
