During the Super Bowl, the Northern Delaware County DUI Taskforce investigated 39 traffic investigations, the Haverford Township Police Department explained to Patch.

The Northern Delaware County DUI Taskforce, which includes six municipalities—Haverford, Marple, Newtown, Radnor, Springfield and Upper Darby townships—conducted a roving DUI patrol on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 5.

Haverford Sgt. Shant Bedrossian stated the taskforce "conducted 39 investigations which resulted in the following":

• 1 (Standardized Field Sobriety Tests) SFST administered and passed
• 13 speeding citations
• 1 unregistered vehicle citation
• 2 red light citations
• 1 inspection citation
• 1 roadways laned for traffic citation
• 25 warnings issued for various violations
