Shoe prints in the snow were observed at a resident's home on the morning of Jan. 28.
BROOMALL–On Jan. 31 at approximately 6:30 p.m., a Marple resident on the unit block of North Sproul Road reported noticing shoe prints in the snow at his home’s side door on the morning of Jan. 28.
According to the report, the man estimated the shoe print size to be about a size 11. The man went over to his neighbor’s home and noticed a window screen lying bent on the ground on the side, first-floor window of the home, according to the report.
On Jan. 31, the man told Marple police received a phone notification about burglaries and asked his neighbor if they were aware of the bent window screen. According to the report, the man believes that around midnight on Sunday, the actor(s) walked up his driveway and across the rear of his home, tried to open his side exterior door and then walked across the lawn to his neighbor’s home.
