NEWTOWN SQUARE–Inner Drive Cycling Fitness Studio, an indoor cycling center, has made its mark to take over the former site of Fitness Together in Newtown Square. 

A Facebook post reveals the indoor cycling center will begin construction starting this week.

Located inside the Shops at Springton Pointe at 210 S. Newtown Street Road, Inner Drive will be the first fitness center in the Marple Newtown area offering solely cycling classes. 

According to Inner Drive's website:

For indoor cycling enthusiasts, Inner Drive boasts the following equipment:

• Video System – "We’ve installed a large screen projection system so you can enjoy the immersive experience of special virtual video rides." 

• FreeMotion S11 Bikes – "Riders will appreciate the comfort and feel of these bikes, with an innovative frame geometry that makes them a comfortable fit for riders of all shapes and sizes, and a magnetic resistance braking system that gives you a smooth, consistent ride."

• Tacx Bushido stationary trainer/ergometers – "The Bushido more than just a trainer – it’s a completely wireless ergometer that allows you to adjust resistance at the touch of a button to simulate some serious climbs."

According to their website, the founder of Inner Drive is a cyclist, triathlete, and fitness enthusiast who "felt there was a place in our community for something unique - an intimate, community-oriented fitness facility offering a more personalized approach than you'll find in the "big box" gyms."

In addition, Inner Drive will be the home base for Delaware County’s Endurance Multisport Triathlon Club–a club for runners, cyclists, and triathletes of all ability levels.
