MEDIA–County Controller Edward E. O’Lone recently accepted a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from Marita J. Kelly, of the Local Government Policy Specialist of the Governor’s Center for Local Government Services, at a June 27th Delaware County Council meeting.

According to the council, the award is the highest form of recognition for governmental accounting and financial reporting for state and local governments. O’Lone accepted the award on behalf of Delaware County for the 2010 fiscal year,
marking the 17th consecutive year the county has been recognized for its financial reporting.

O'Lone also currently serves as Marple Township's Director of Finance.
