Melvin and June Robbins, married for 65 years, were high school sweethearts, waited for one another throughout WWII, after which they were reunited. They married, and had 7 children, 18 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. They've been residents of Broomall for over 56 years. Still very much in love with each other!! Credit Bette

Who is the Cutest Couple in Marple Newtown Patch?

Here’s how you vote:

  • Let us know in the comments below which couple is your pick by giving the number associated with the picture.
  • You may vote once per day.
  • Any vote with a negative comment about any of the couples will be disqualified and not count.
  • Voting will end at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10
  • The call for entries ended at 6 p.m. on Feb. 7. Any votes or images added to this article after that will not be counted.

The cutest couple in Marple Newtown Patch will then be entered in the Patch regional contest for cutest couple with 13 other winners and have a chance at the first or second place prize packages. Voting for the regional winner will take place between 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11 and 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12. The regional winner will be named the cutest couple the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 13, and the first place couple will win a prize package valued at $537.

Here are the overall contest rules:

  • The contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 and older.
  • To enter, upload a photo of you and your significant other to this article. [Sorry, entries are now closed]
  • All entries must be received by 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7. [Sorry, entries are now closed]
  • You may enter once per day.
  • Users will vote to determine one cutest couple per Patch. Each Patch winner will then be entered into the regional contest to win the prizes listed above.
  • You may vote once per day.
  • Any vote with a negative comment about any of the couples will be disqualified and not count.
  • There is one set of prizes for the regional first place couple and one set of prizes for the regional second place couple. The prize for winning the local Patch contest is entrance into the regional contest and a chance to win the regional prize package. Prizes are listed above.
  • In the event of a tie, the winner will be randomly chosen from the couples that received the most votes.
