BROOMALL–The Marple Newtown Combined Veterans Alliance presented a ceremony to honor the 10th anniversary of the flag raising that stands on a hill above the intersection of Rt. 3/West Chester Pike and the off-ramp of Interstate highway 476.

The flag was put up 10 years ago by Joe and John Cavallo, two brothers and Korean War Veterans of Marple Township, who wanted to do something meaningful after the attacks of 9/11.
