I have just completed my first year with the Newtown Police Department. I was hired June 1, 2011.

What do you like about your job?

I like that I am a part of a hard-working department who works closely together to serve and protect the community.

What do you dislike about your job?

The one thing I dislike about my job is that occasionally we are faced with handling tragic events.

What inspired you to become a police officer?

I have always wanted to help people and make a positive impact in the lives of others.

What do you like about the Marple Newtown area?

I enjoy working in the Marple Newtown area because the residents and businesses truly appreciate the work we do and support our police department.

What do you want the general public to know about the Newtown Police Department?

I would like the general public to know that the Newtown Police Department is a great group of officers who place their lives on the line every day to ensure that Newtown is a safe community and we thank them for their support.
