The Players:

Dino Ciliberti—The editor of the Palmer/Forks Patch writes a weekly Philly Sports Chatter column that appears every Saturday on all Patches in the Lehigh Valley, South Jersey and the Philadelphia suburbs. He's a long-suffering Philadelphia Eagles fan. Dino is overseeing Pigskin Picks.

Daryl Nerl—Editor of the Bethlehem Patch. He's also a New York Giants fan.

Rob Chakler—Editor for Upper Moreland and Lower Moreland Patches. Rob is also a Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Elizabeth Rich—Editor of the Upper Saucon Patch. Believe it or not, she's a Kansas City Chiefs fan. (Elizabeth's note: What can I say, it's a bad relationship I keep going back to...)

Thomas Sunnergren—Editor of the Phoenixville Patch. Tom gets to cover "Blobfest" since Phoenixville is where the legendary movie "The Blob" was filmed. He's also a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

James Boyle—Editor of the Warminster Patch. He's also a Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Jesseka Kadylak—Editor of Northampton Patch. Having grown up in the Steel City of Pittsburgh, she has been a die-hard Steelers fan since birth (heck, she even snuck her Terrible Towel in her wedding photos).

Bad spot for the Eagles, could be anothr Arizona type game. Weather calls for a running game, that means Andy will throw 60 times. Pitt by 17. Say hello to Nick Fols!!!

This is the first I noticed this but my question is if you aren't picking with point spreads, what is the point?

Richard -- It's really just for bragging rights. We're not betting any money or anything.

Jess -- Horrible video! I couldn't stand to watch much of it. And using a great Styx song?? Shameful. "Fly Eagles Fly...on the road to victory!!"

"Renegade" is played every Steelers home game and the crowd goes wild. It was a very strategic song choice. =) Just trying to have a little fun.

Richard, Point spreads only matter in Las Vegas. Wins and losses count in the standings. Lots of experts on ESPN and NFL Network pick winners without considering point spreads. Not that I'm comparing ourselves to them.

I thought Elizabeth might have been until she went 5-10 last week. Thanks for letting us all back in the race, Elizabeth.

The patch is a good source of information about a lot of things. Clearly professional football is NOT one of them.

Richard H. —We're not trying to be a sports source for NFL news... we're trying to have fun by predicting who we think will win, and engage others by seeing who they think will win. So, which teams do you think will win this weekend?

You other editors were lucky I didn't decide to take part in this feature. I'd probably be killing it and leaving you guys/gals in the dust.
