BROOMALL–A crowd of volunteers were onsite at Kent Park in Marple Township early Saturday morning ready to clean up the park on Parke Lane and Cedar Grove Road.

Volunteers included local township officials, including the Marple Township Board of Commissioners President Michael Molinaro, of the 6th ward, members of theh Department of Public Works, about 60 Marple Walmart employees and family members, employees from Wawa and many more.

The cleanup lasted until 1 p.m., in which the cleanup focused on the playground area, debris around the stream and bridge and trash pickup to get the park ready for nicer weather.
