Republican presidential candidate and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney took the stage at Valley Forge Military Academy and College in Wayne on Friday afternoon, speaking to a crowd of at least a thousand supporters and vowing to win both the state and the presidency.

Before Romney took the stage around noon, several Pa. politicians and political hopefuls spoke to the largely Republican crowd about their own policies and hopes for the November election.

Wow, look at all of the women up there with Romney. My count comes out to ZERO. The polls are irrelevant, sure. Just like science in general. I guess the electoral process has ways of "shutting the whole thing down" when it comes to Obama winning a 2nd term.

We are not voting for women!!!!!! Please jump off that bandwagon. We are voting for people who will get us out of this mess that Obama and his minions of socialsts and communists have wrought on the American people.
Romney is NOT against women. That mantra has to go!!!!!!! We all just don't want to pay for contraceptives, etc., with government money. That is not against women. It is against our religions and humanity. Planned parenthood doesn't need government money and programs.

Why are all liberals so angry?????????

You go, Lori! The Republican party always seems to attract those with a lesser intellect and those who dispute the facts. The conservative base primarily consists of the uneducated, white, Southern man. Rick Santorum (R) said it best: "We will never have the elite, smart people on our side." So true, litte Ricky, as long as your party continues on its path of destruction.

Any intelligent woman would not vote for two white men who want to bring women back to the 50's

I'm a woman voting for "Hey, I'd love to fix everything but there isn't any money". Fix the debt and then fund your dream projects. Unless they plan to tank the dollar or forgive the worlds' debt....none of this makes sense.

I agree!!! You can't pay for any social services without money. Where do these people think the money is coming from?
Security, debt and JOBS are the answer.

It is not the liberals who are angry but the extreme right who want to force their values and opinions on everyone else.

Dear Jane,
Look up the definitiion of intelligence. I don't think that it is meant to describe people of any political parties????????? Of course if you were that intelligent you would have known that:)
You have to know the facts before you caN DISPUTE THEM. LIBERALS HAVE NO CLUE OF HOW TO SEARCH FOR THE TRUTH. If they did they would not be liberals.

Liberals tend to be highly educated and successful in all aspects of their lives. They appreciate their fortune and empathize for others less fortunate. They understand it could easily be them. There are no certainties in life. Hard working people can have their lives suddenly changed through serious illness, job loss, etc. Far right people don't seem to understand that fact.

We have seen the media of this grand ole USA exhibit such bias (to the left) during this election cycle, it's unbelievable. And scary. Opinion should be left for editorials...full and clear reporting of the facts (both good and bad) is what the TV, internet and radio avenues should be reporting, without taking sides. I'm 59 and when growing up you were never able to tell what party a news reporter on TV supported. NOT that way today! Because the average American spends only 2-3 hours of REAL time gathering info on the candidates during any election cycle, the misinformation put out there on TV, radio and the internet is enough to sway folks to one side. They don't bother to check out the truth of what they hear, they just hear it and believe it. Too bad that this great country will most likely continue to spiral downwards over the next 4 years because Obama has the advantage of being the incumbant and the Dem's have a better-oiled machine that is blasting the Republicans, saying and promising things they know people want to hear. Obama has no clear plan for the next 4 yrs. I agree with E. Ogens - where do the liberals think the money is going to come from to fund all the programs the Dem's support?? They'd better realize there need to be BUSINESSES and folks with a JOB making money. We can't just keep providing financial support endlessly, the $$ is going to run out. It's astounding how much the USA of just a generation ago has changed, and NOT for the better

Dear Kate,
I hope you really don't believe what you have said about only liberals being educated and successful? Or tell me where you get your information.???? If you do you must be very young or living in an alternate universe. Show me your statistics and sources.

I think we can all agree that building businesses in the US is vital to the economy. Let's start by taxing those that profit the most from overseas investments, off-shore banking, and foreign goods made far below American wages.

It's incredible how closed minded and shallow Kate and a few others really are. It's a shame that such misinformed, biased people are able to offset my vote. I really resent it. Open up your mind, Kate, and start realizing that we cannot continue down the same path as the last 3 1/2 years under Mr Obama. Do you really not understand that, Kate?
