I have no idea if car speed was a factor here, but I have to say I think they need to reduce the speed limit on Goshen Road from what I believe is 45 mph to 35 mph. This road is used for commuters and I have seen some cases of people going way too fast for this meandering country road. It's such a lovely stretch I like to drive at a moderate speed and enjoy the rolling hills. I have had many instances of aggressive drivers tailing me there.

The speed limit has been 40 for years I think it used to be 45 and as of a few years ago I think there were still few 45 signs up. I do not think 40 or 45 is too slow, but I have to agree Sam, if the limit is 40 I go 40 and I still get tailgated all the way, the people would like to go 60!!!!

Just a few weeks ago I stopped to help after I witnessed a high school boy on his way to school take that same exact curve and loose control of his car. I have no idea how he missed hitting the telephone pole, but he did and was very very fortunate. It's a dangerous curve and people have no idea. My special thoughts and prayers go out to the victim and his family.

I have lived on crum creek off Goshen for 27 years... I drive that road 3 times a day, I can't tell you how many times people are racing at 50 mph and over the yellow line. That speed limit should be reduced to 35, right now it is 40. Or have some flashing yellow lights, or something that will slow folks down .

Keep the bycyclers off Goshen road, it's a hazard to drivers that use the road. Good way to get killed.

people do drive very to fast on that road. but the bicycle rides and the poor road conditions make for severe hazards.
