Police Searching For Person of Interest Involved in Sunglasses Theft

The Newtown Township Police Department is seeking help in identifying the woman in the photo who may have more information about a pair of sunglasses that were stolen at TD Bank in Newtown Square.

Newtown police are asking for the public's help in identifying the woman in the photo who may have more information about a sunglasses theft that occurred earlier this month at TD Bank in Newtown Square.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–The Newtown Township Police is investigating the theft of a pair of prescription sunglasses, valued at $450, which occurred at the TD Bank in Newtown Square. 

According to the police incident report, the theft occurred earlier this month on Aug. 2 around 10:30 a.m.

Newtown police released the above photo of a woman who was in the bank at the time of the theft.

Police are seeking the public's help identifying the woman in the photo so that they may interview her about any possible information she can provide the police department about the theft, stated Lt. Chris Lunn in a press release.  

According to the release, the woman entered the bank with a small white dog with brown spots, possibly a Jack Russell.

Anyone who knows the identity of this woman should contact officer Jeff Johnson or Det. John Newell at 610-356-0602.

The caption on the picture is saying that Newtown police are asking for the public's HEALTH not help. Just thought I'd let you know.
