Police were called to Marple Newtown High School on May 13 at about 9:03 a.m. for a report of criminal mischief and a building supervisor showed police the damage done to the school, according to the report.

Apparently as part of a 2013 senior prank, students spray painted the school's tiger mascot on the front lawn pink, defaced two poster signs on the lawn of the school with spray paint, placed balloons in the trees and also hung an adult blow up doll in one of the trees, according to the report.

The balloons and doll were removed and the maintenance department was going to see what was needed to remove the paint from the tiger, according to the report.

The building manager estimated the damage to the two signs to total about $1,600, the removal of the spray paint to be less than $100 and the removal of balloons and dolls at no cost, according to the report.
