Act 537 Special Meeting Set for Monday Night
Action is expected to be taken at Monday night's special Newtown Township meeting.
NEWTOWN SQUARE–Newtown Township officials will be hold a special meeting on Monday at 6:30 p.m. for the township's Act 537 sewage facilities plan.
According to Township Manager Mike Trio, the meeting will be held in the Marple Newtown School Board Room, located in the second floor of the Marple Newtown School District Administrative Building, due to a conflict with the Newtown Public Library Book Sale on Feb. 4 as well.
"Personnel will be on location to direct the public," stated Trio in an email.
Newtown Township supervisors will be present at the special meeting for discussion on the township's Act 537 Plan and action is expected to be taken on the updated plan, according to Trio.
The Municipal Authority meeting scheduled for Monday has been canceled. The next meeitng will be conducted on Monday, March 4, as scheduled.
