Spotted: Boy Flown To CHOP After Baseball Injury

A boy was seen at the Broomall Firehouse on Saturday, 12, being taken into a helicopter to be transported to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for a baseball injury.

The Broomall Fire Co. responded to a baseball injury on Saturday, May 12.
The Marple Ambulance Corps also responded to the incident.
A PennSTAR helicopter was seen landing on the front lawn of the Broomall Firehouse.
A 10-year-old boy was seen being transported by PennSTAR to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on Saturday, May 12, at approximately 3 p.m. at the Broomall Firehouse.
No further information has been received about the boy's condition or incident.

BROOMALL–A local resident spotted a PennSTAR medical helicopter on the front lawn of the Broomall Fire Co. at approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, and was able to capture a few photos of what appeared to be a medical transport.

According to Public Information Officer Tony Cavarocchi, of the Broomall Fire Co., a 10-year-old had been flown to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia due to a baseball injury that afternoon. No futher information has been released.
