Target to Match Prices of Amazon, Walmart

The big box retailer said it will price-match items up to a week after purchase.

Walmart may see some steep competition. Over the holiday season, Target implemented a guarantee to match the prices of its online competitors. According to Daily Finance, the retailer has decided to extend the popular program year-round:

Under the new policy, customers will get a price-match if they can provide proof of a lower price at Amazon.com, Walmart.com, ToysRUs.com, BabiesRUs.com or BestBuy.com. They can also score a retroactive price-match if they bring in proof of a lower price (and their receipt) within 7 days of their purchase.

There are a some notable exceptions, including items from third-party vendors on Amazon's Marketplace.
