The following incidents occurred in and around Marple and Newtown townships. Arrests, when mentioned, do not suggest conviction. 

$500 Stolen from Pants Pocket, Police Say

Also, coins were stolen from a woman's home on Longview Circle on March 1.

Drunken Driver Strikes Multiple Vehicles, Police Say

A 50-year-old Philadelphia man told police he had not been drinking after witnesses saw the man swerve and strike three separate vehicles along West Chester Pike, police say.

Handgun Stolen from Vehicle, Police Say

Lights were also damaged at Veterans Memorial Park in Broomall, and a hockey ball is thrown a resident's home window.

1,342 Feb. Incidents, 164 Car Crashes Reported by State Police

Ten of those crashes were related to DUI arrests and a total of 191 arrests were made last month.
