Newtown Township supervisors officially accept the resignation of Newtown Police Chief Dennis Anderson on Nov. 26, 2012.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors announce Monday night the resignation of Newtown Police Chief Dennis Anderson. The township's insurance company and Anderson reached a $175,000 settlement agreement on the matter. Lt. Chris Lunn was also appointed Monday night as the acting police chief.
