The bells of St. Anastasia's would ring three times a day for years, until they stopped earlier this year.
I was curious why they'd stopped, and called the church office. The woman who answered the phone told me that the bells had broken, but the church had just purchased a new electronic Carillon bell system.
The bells will resume their performance schedule in a couple weeks, she said.

I am more concerned with the front steps of St. Anastasia’s church rather than the bells. I would think that weddings/christenings would be adversely affected by these steps that are in complete disarray (producing unsightly photos) and obviously quite dangerous. What's the holdup on fixing them?
