BROOMALL–Marple Township is offering its residents a free Shred Fest event on Saturday morning to shred personal and confidential documents in a safe manner. Residents can take up to four boxes of personal documents to be destroyed from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Though Shred Fest is open to the entire community, the township is discouraging businesses. The event will take place at the Old Marple School yard located off of West Chester Pike & N. Malin Rd. in Broomall. Wiggins Shredding will be the company shredding the documents on Saturday.
NEWTOWN SQUARE–Newtown Township's Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC) kicked off of Newtown’s first Arbor Day observance at Drexel Lodge Park.
