Teens in grades 6 through 12 may enter as teams of up to three members or as individuals.
All teams are required to bring a fully-baked, undecorated cake or cake pieces and decorating supplies to the library on the day of the event.
Teams will then have two hours to frost, decorate, and assemble their cakes for judging.

More About Marple Public Library
The Marple Public Library on Sproul Road offers reading material of all kinds to all ages. Readers from young to old can borrow magazines, audio books, bestsellers, DVDs and videos. In addition, the library offers children, teen and adult programs. The entire right side of the library is dedicated to children's books and programs. The rest of the library is sectioned off with a variety of choices, including a reference section, movie rentals, computer use and a separate, quiet study area.
