On Tuesday, August 7th, residents of Marple Township are invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 29th Annual National Night Out crime and drug prevention event.
From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., residents from the community will be able to see equipment on display from Marple Police, Broomall Fire Co., and Marple EMS providers as well as free food and games for children.
The event will be rain or shine.

More About Broomall Fire Company
The Broomall Fire Company here has been providing fire safety services to the residents of Marple Township since 1923.
The fire company currently holds 11 apparatuses, from rescue and engine trucks to utility and command trucks.
It holds an annual Fire Prevention Week to educate the community and its children through various programs and activities for fire safety awareness.
Most recently, the department received approximately 710 emergency calls for 2010. All emergency calls should be dialed as 911.
