The Paper Mill House and Museum is generally open on Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in July and August. In addition to the self-guided tour of the 19th Century general store and the local history museum and mill ruins, the Newtown Square Historical Society plans to have additional events and activities for kids from 1 to 92.
Please come out and see your local history museum and support the work of the Society.

More About Paper Mill House Museum
The Paper Mill House Museum is the home of the Newtown Square Historical Preservation Society. The facility, known formerly as the Paper Mill House, was built in 1770.
The two-floor house is now a museum with a collection of preserved historical items. Items on display include furnishings such as chairs and desks; general store items such as wheels, barrels, pots and pans; displays of farm tools from the early colonial era; and a display of mills and maps.
Sections of the house designed to look like a colonial era bedroom and living room. The museum also features a gift shop. Parties interested in scheduling a tour should e-mail info@historicnewtownsquare.org.

Reminder: Paper Mill House and Museum and Square Tavern are both open on Saturdays from 1-4:00 p.m. in July and August. Please stop by and visit and see what is going on at each location. Make our guides work rather than simply pine away for visitors!

CANCELLATION OF PAPER MILL HOUSE OPENING FOR SATURDAY JULY 20TH: The Paper Mill House will NOT be open this Saturday for activities. St. David's Road has been closed so access is difficult. We should still have the Paper Mill House open for coming weekends, but on this weekend, the Paper Mill House will be closed. The Square Tavern will still be open for visitors this Saturday, from 1:00-4:00 p.m..
