Dance Lesson Registration Wednesday in Marple Newtown

• Dance: Open House Registration at Art in Motion Dance Studio, 27 N. Sproul Road in Broomall. Sign up for dance lessons in ballet, pointe, lyrical, modern, tap, jazz and hip hop. Class sizes are limited, so register early. 
• Government: Newtown Township Environmental Advisory Commission meeting at 7 p.m. on Aug. 28
• Food: PRC Farmers Market from 2 to 6 p.m. at Mostardi Nursery on West Chester Pike
• Traffic: Check on your commute on the PennDOT traffic cameras before you leave the house. But the traffic will likely be terrible—it's traffic.
  
• Weather: The forecast calls for temperatures to reach the mid-80s with expected thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to drop to high 60s in the evening.
• History: Per the History Channel, on this day in 1996, Charles and Diana divorced and in 2006 fugitive polygamist leader Warren Jeffs was arrested.
