Mingle With Your Emergency Responders at Two July Events

Meet and greet your emergency responders at the Fourth of July parade and the Spirit Fundraiser.

The public will have two opportunities to meet your emergency services personnel at least twice in the month of July. The first is on the Fourth of July, the annual Marple Newtown Fourth of July parade will begin at St. Albans Circle in Newtown Square and conclude at the Broomall Fire House on Malin Road.

Please join us at the fire house after the parade for cold water and juice along with some food, at which time awards will be handed out by the Marple Newtown Parade Committee. Please be sure to wear your sunscreen, set up umbrellas, and dress cool due to the forcasted high heat and humidity.

If you have an emergency problem during the parade, call 911 and EMTs and paramedics from will respond to where you are to take care of you.

The second chance to mingle with your emergency services personnel will be at on South Sproul Road on July 12 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Both the . and Marple Ambulance Corps will be at Rita's to try to raise money for our future new buildings. Twenty percent of the proceeds will be donated by Rita's Water Ice towards the new building budgets for the fire company and ambulance corps.
