American Revolution - a great resource

I received this and wanted to pass it along – one of the best kept secrets of the Philadelphia area.  40 years ago, a Bucks County doctor and history buff, who had spent his whole life collecting materials on the American Revolution, opened his private collection to the public.  The site sits right up the river from where Washington crossed the Delaware.  It has professional staff and volunteers who have the time to help you find what you are looking for.  They have the American records, the British records, the Hessian records, the Canadian records – books, maps, newspapers – an amazing collection focused on the American Revolution.  If you have any interest at all in research in that era, the David Library is well worth the trip.  And if you have some spare change, it is a worthy institution to support with your donations.
