International Ballet Classique Announces Open Auditions Sept 8 for Nutcracker Ballet 2013 and Coppelia 2014

International Ballet Classique (IBC), the first and only professional ballet company in Delaware County serving the Delaware Valley and surrounding areas, announces auditions for their annual Nutcracker Ballet and their March 2014 performance of Coppelia choreographed in the finest traditions of the Bolshoi Ballet. All auditions are scheduled for Sunday September 8, at their new location on the upper level Suite 209 of the Granite Run Mall, Media, PA  19063. Audition times are 10 a.m. for ages 7 through 10, and 11 a.m. for ages 11 through 14 and 12 pm for ages 15 through 18. Applicants are requested to arrive 15 minutes prior to audition time for registration and dressed in ballet attire ( black leotard, pink tights and ballet shoes) We ask that all dancers to please use our private outside entrance located near Entrance 3  left of Boscov's and right of J.C. Penney. . Successful candidates will have an opportunity to dance in our traditional, full-length, fully costumed Nutcracker Ballet before an audience of over 900 patrons in the beautiful 300 seat Meagher Theatre at Neumann University on Friday, Dec. 13; Saturday, Dec. 14; and Sunday Dec. 15, 2013 including two abbreviated student performances on Thursday, Dec 12 and our Spring 2014 performance of the French masterpiece and beloved comedic ballet Coppelia on Thursday March 20, Friday March 21 and Saturday March 22.  .
