Bryn Mawr Ave. Reopens Following Road Work

The roadway, which had been closed since early July, has reopened to traffic.

Bryn Mawr Avenue in Newtown Township officially reopened following construction detours which lasted several weeks.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation closed the roadway, between Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and Malin Road, on July 8 in order to replace two damaged storm water drainage pipes.

The road work was expected to be completed by July 19 however continued through to July 24.

PennDOT Safety Press Officer Brad Rudolph says Bryn Mawr Avenue is now reopened.
