Drop Off Hurricane Sandy Donations at Liberty Gas

Liberty Gas Station will be collecting Hurricane Sandy donations from Nov. 12-15.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Marple Newtown residents can now drop off Hurricane Sandy donations at Liberty Gas Station, 3710 West Chester Pike, in Newtown Square. 

A member of the Newtown Square Town Watch Facebook group posted the following message: 

Help People Who Have Lost Everything at the Jersey Shore! 
Collection location: Liberty Gas Station, located at 3710 West Chester Pike Newtown Square PA 19073 (at Bishop Hollow Road) will be collecting for people in need at the NJ Shore.

The distribution and shelters are in desperate need of the following supplies:
New & gently used clothing, cold weather coats for men, women and children, toiletries such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer, hand creams, baby items, foods, wipes, tissues, diapers, formula, canned baby food & bottles, toothpaste, combs, razors, feminine hygiene products and blankets! Gently used clothing in all sizes, clean and folded, cleaning supplies, rain boots, utility gloves, first aid kits, sleeping bags, sheets (clean and folded). Over the counter meds such as Advil, Tylenol and children’s over the counter meds are needed as well as pet supplies and food. Shelf kept food supplies would be greatly appreciated. Small care packages for children with markers, construction paper, small toys, coloring books, crayons.
