Historical Society Christmas Gift Sale

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 22 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Where:True Value Hardware 3564 W Chester Pike, Newtown Square
  • Why Go: Great last minute gift idea.  The Newtown Square Historical Society will have items for sale outside of True Value on Saturday.  Unique gifts of building replicas, crocks, book and more will be on hand.
  • Cost: Free

Winter Wonderland and Breakfast With Santa

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 22 from 9 a.m. - Noon
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Bring your family to the CREC for a delicious breakfast with Old St. Nick. After breakfast we'll keep the festival going with music, games, holiday themed crafts and end our day with a "snowball fight".  All children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Cost: $12 for breakfast, $12 for Winter Wonderland or $20 for both.  Under 2 free.

Caroling Hayrides

  • When: December 22 at 5 and 6:30 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Last chance to celebrate the ancient tradition of Wassailing and sing Christmas Carols around a campfire. Roast marshmallows and enjoy delicious apple cider.
  • Cost: $5 per person

Santa Paws

  • When: December 20 from 4 to 7 p.m.
  •  Where: Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union, 101 W State Street in Media
  • Why Go: Bring your favorite furry friend to pose with Santa. The Delco SPCA will have a photographer present who will email the pictures to the families but you are welcome to bring your own camera.
  • Cost: Free but a donation to the Delco SPCA is encouraged.

Santa's Village at Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union

  • When: Now through December 23, from 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Where: Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union, 101 W State Street in Media
  • Why Go: Visit Santa and tell him what you'd like for Christmas. Bring your own camera and snap a picture with the big guy in the red suit too.
  • Cost: Free, Call 610-566-5039 for more Information.
