Historical Society Cancels Holiday Party Due To Bridge Outage

The Newtown Square Historical Society announced it will be canceling their 2012 Wassail Party due to St. David's Road bridge still undre repairs.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–The Newtown Square Historical Society announced on Wednesday that their annual holiday party will be canceled this year due to nearby bridge woes from St. David's Road.

The following statement was issued in an email due to the cancellation:

The 2012 Wassail Party scheduled for December 1, 2012 has been canceled. The St David's Road bridge has been closed all Fall, and separates our parking area from the Mill House. We considered having the party at a different location, but ultimately those plans fell through. We will resume the annual Wassail Party next year.
