PRIMARY ELECTION DAY

When: Tuesday, April 24, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

What: Though there aren't any contested local races in the Marple Newtown area, it's a presidential election year with a heated GOP primary race for a bid to the presidential seat. Don't forget to.

BROOMALL FIRE CO.'S SPRING CARNIVAL

When: Friday, April 27th, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday, April 28th, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, April 29th, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

What: The . will be holding their annual spring carnival. Come meet the Broomall firefighters and enjoy some family time with rides, games, and food as well as face painting, a firefighter dunk tank, and a fire safety trailer on site. Save the dates for this fun family outing.

Where: At the Old Marple School yard off of N. Malin Road and West Chester Pike/Rt. 3 in Broomall.

LADIES AUXILIARY SPRING FLEA MARKET

When: Sunday, April 29, at 9 a.m.

What: The 's Ladies Auxiliary is hosting their annual Spring Flea Market in the Newtown Square Shopping Center on April 29th. The organization hosts two flea markets each year. Mark down your calendar for a day full of bargains.

Where: , 3590 W Chester Pike in Newtown Square.

BROOMALL ROTARY'S JUNIOR OLYMPICS

When: Sunday, April 29, at 12:30 p.m.

What: Mark your calendar and enter your child in this year's Junior Olympics. The Junior Olympics is an annual event sponsored and run by the Broomall Rotary Club. Events include ball throw, 50-yard dash, broad jump and more. Children ages 3-10 are invited to participate and each kid walks away a winner.

Where:  on Lawrence Road between Warren Blvd. and Hillside Lane in Broomall.

When: Monday, April 30, at 9 a.m.

What: Vote for the photos now in Patch's Biggest Sports Fan contest. You have until 9 a.m. on Monday to vote for your favorite fan photos. The winning photos will win $240 Stubhub tickets to use towards a future game.
