Marple Community Pride Day: Meet Your Neighbors

Marple Community Pride Day was held on Saturday, Oct. 13.

BROOMALL–The Marple Business & Professional Association (MBPA) held its annual Community Pride Day at the former Marple school lot on Malin Road and West Chester Pike in Broomall on Saturday, Oct. 13.

According to Bill McIntyre, president of the MBPA, this year was the fifth community day for Marple. The MBPA was established in 1996.

"We're starting our membership campaign. We meet the first Thursday of every month at 8 a.m. at Mrs. Marty's Deli and welcome new members. Membership fee is $70 a year. We help sponsor events such as today, Community Pride Day, the Bicycle Brigade, Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, and more," said McIntyre.
