Road Work Planned on the Blue Route, I-95

Maintenance work is being done on dynamic message boards.

The following was provided to Patch:

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) on Tuesday  announced that lane restrictions are scheduled from 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 to 5 a.m. Thursday, April 17, on northbound Interstate 95 and southbound Interstate 476 in Delaware County, for maintenance work on dynamic message boards.

The work locations are:

•      Northbound I-95 between Route 322 and Kerlin Street in the City of Chester;

•      Southbound I-476 between Beatty Road and Baltimore Pike in Springfield Township;

•      Southbound I-476 between Reed Road and (Route 320) Sproul Road in Marple Township; and

•      Southbound I-476 between Chester Road and MacDade Boulevard in Springfield and Ridley townships.

Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews.
