What Would You Improve in Marple, Newtown in 2014?

If you could make a New Year's resolution for Marple or Newtown, what would it be?

More than 45 percent of Americans make a resolution every year, according to statisticbrain.com. Some people vow to live a healthier lifestyle, others promise to spend more time with family, and many say they will try to save money.

As millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives, what could we do right here in Marple and Newtown townships to make it an even better place to live?

What is on your Marple or Newtown wish list? What is one thing you would improve in 2014?

Tell us in the comment section below or blog about it here.

If I had a wish for Marple Newtown, it would be new paved roads and street lights installed on streets without lights. After paying taxes for over 30 years, paving my street would be nice. People could sell their houses more easily and the lights would discourage buglars.

Keep the traffic flow moving, you go from red light to red light in Marple. The pike is always jammed because of the red lights. I cannot believe no one in the township has done anything about this. Rush hour is a mess, going east or west on the pike. Pleassssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss do something about this!
