An Afternoon of Classical and Modern Music

The Friends of the Marple Public Library in Broomall are hosting a concert of classical and modern music on Sunday October 23 at 2:00 pm.

This program will feature Vince Iannone on clarinet and flute and John Dragonetti on guitar. Included on this program will be works by classical composers, Antonio Vivaldi; George Phillip Telemann; Claude Debussy; Paul Jeanjean, Heinrich Neuman and Ferdinando Carulli.  Also included will be selections from the popular 'swing era' by Lenny Lewis and Buddy DeFranco including Samia Shuffle, Buddy's Blues and Rumpus Room among others. 

This concert is free and open to the public. Marple Public Library is located at 2599 Sproul Road, Broomall. Walk-ins welcome, reservations are recommended at 610-356-1510. A reception will immediately follow the performance and all are invited to meet the musicians.
