Burlap and Bean Presents: Gordon Vincent, Twin Ghost, and Pete Mroz

An evening with Gordon Vincent, Twin Ghost, and Pete Mroz.
A special triple feature.

Gordon Vincent is a master musician who works his audience as well as anyone … He also stands up as a true poet, lyrically. He was a finalist in Billboard Magazine's Independent Music World Series in 2005 and showcased as an "emerging artist" at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. He released his 3rd and 4th self-produced studio projects - Confessions of a Hummingbird Farmer in 2010 and Mechanical Breakdown in 2011. This summer he will unveil his latest and most intimate work, Firefly - featuring grammy-nominee and virtuoso, the late George Mesterhazy. To listen to samples, visit www.gordonvincent.com

Twin Ghost is a Philadelphia based singer/songwriter. His songs are a well-crafted collection of rootsy, soulful ballads with a bluesy rock edge and pop brilliance; a seasoned artist with a uniquely expressive and distinctive voice. His influences range from yesterday's classics to today's contemporaries: including Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, James Taylor, Neil Young, Ray Lamontagne and Amos Lee. The music of Twin Ghost is acoustic-based singer/songwriter material, but his musical history is deep-rooted and eclectic. To listen to samples, visit www.twinghost.com

Clean, clear, and precise with honestly holding it all together … this is color palette of Pete Mroz’s music. His music is Hot AC, AAA, Americana, or Pop … a love song, blues song, acoustic song, or a roots song … it is all about the soul of the music and sometimes that concept doesn’t fit a genre. Influenced by a wide range of artists like Robert Johnson, The Beatles, Clapton and Sting his music has been compared to artists like Paul Simon, Jackson Browne, and James Taylor … an old soul in a modern world some would say.
