Jamie Cavaliere Is Guest Artist At Marple Library

The Friends of the Marple Public Library are pleased to announce noted Artist Jamie Cavaliere of Bryn Mawr, PA as our Guest Artist for July and August.

All are welcome to view this exhibit of selected watercolors that highlights the creativity and contributions of this gifted artist. During your visit you will experience many familiar scenes of our region through Jamie's unique use of watercolors. In his passionate pursuit of perfection Mr. Cavaliere elevated the work of watercolors to new heights with a vivacity of colors and a masterly display of technique. Each composition on exhibit explores the use of colors and line with relentless energy gently combined with subtle classical restraint. Throughout the exhibit visitors will see how his vision of style and artistry offers us new insights into the possibilities of watercolors. You may wish to focus in particular on the works Boathouse Row, Sedgley Lighthouse and Cherry Blossoms to experience his decisive ambiance and shared moods.

Jamie was born in Bryn Mawr and is a 3rd generation artist following in the footsteps of his father Daniel V. and grandfather Raphael J., each a noted artist in their own right.
