Newtown Library Kicks Off Spring With Art Exhibit

The new art exhibit will be displayed through the end of the month at Newtown Public Library.

NEWTOWN SQUARE– welcomes Karl Klingelhoeffer's Blessing of the Vines, Scenes from the Past, and other charming pieces for their April Art Show.

Farmers truly appreciate the changing seasons. Blessing vineyards, fields, and gardens is a springtime tradition in many countries including Switzerland. Klingelhoeffer captures this custom in his charming pastel Blessing of the Vines. While set in the Swiss Alps, the piece evokes pastors and hard-working parishioners everywhere,  praying for bountiful harvests from their carefully cultivated fields.  The abstracts highlight spring and summer colors.

A selection of Klingelhoeffer’s pieces is on display at Newtown Public Library through April 30. Further information on his work can be found on his website at www.artbykarl.com or by calling 610-644-3977.
