Donations Given to Marple Newtown School District
Several donations from the community benefit district schools.
The Marple Newtown Board of School Directors accepted several donations from the community and PTOs at Tuesday's meeting.
- $200 from Bonnett Associates Inc. for "Raise the Bar"
- $250 from Beneficial Bank for "Raise the Bar"
- $1,000 from Louis and Theresa Montanaro for Worrall Elementary School
- $9,104 from the Tiger Foundation for grants
- $10,290 from Russell School PTO for three Smartboards at the school
- Two used, regulation soccer goals from the Marple Newtown Soccer Association for Paxon Hollow Middle School
The board unanimously accepted and thanked each group for the generous donations.
