Dunwoody Homecare Brings Local Veterans to Memorial Dedication

Seven local Veterans from Dunwoody Village were in attendance Saturday for the dedication of the Delaware County Veterans Memorial.

May 11, 2013 - Many local residents showed up this Saturday to dedicate the Delaware County Veterans Memorial and pay tribute to America's Veterans. Among those in attendance were seven local Veterans from Dunwoody Village.

These local Veterans from World War II and The Vietnam War were proud to be a part of the ceremony. Dunwoody Homecare, a subsidiary of Dunwoody Village, helped arrange transportation for the day so that these important members of our community could be in attendance.

Jane Weidmayer, a long time Newtown Square Resident, was in attendance with the group and had this to say about the event - "It was a great display for our local veterans. It was well run; in fact beautifully run. Claude de Botton has a great deal of respect for America's Veterans and has always worked hard to support Veterans in our community."
