Casale Vs. Newtown Grill: Which Sign is Better?

Casale recently put up their new sign in place of the former Newtown Grill sign.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Casale, formerly known as The Newtown Grill, recently held a launch party last week in celebration of its new transformation. The restaurant's sign was also recently replaced with the new Casale sign.

So, tell us, what do you think of the new sign? Do you prefer it over The Newtown Grill's sign?

The new look at Casale Restaurant is a welcome change. The "Grill" got into tacky lights and banners that looked out of place in Newtown Square. The new "revised" restaurant has some damage control to undertake in order to erase the memories of poor service and lackluster meals at the "Grill"

The new name/sign will have zero impact unless they change what really matters - the quality of food and service. There isn't a person around that doesn't miss the quality from the days back when the place was THE place to go for a great meal. I understand there is a new menu but I will not eat another meal there unless I hear about at least ONE good meal someone has there and then it's a "maybe". The last few times the food and service actually got worse each time. Looking forward to hearing good news but usually same owners = same problems. Sometimes a face needs more than just a facelift.

I couldnt agree more! The food and service are poor at best. It's time for someone esle to take over, simply changing the name won't work. Bring something really new in, not window dressing.

Nicer sign, but unless the food and service is better, it's a moot point.

The food was very good this past Saturday and the service was excellent. It seems that the owners changed their chefs in the kitchens as well as the manager. The menu is all Italian and the pricing are comparable to other Italian restaurant in the area. I think everybody needs to try this landmark in our Newtown Square before the chains swallow us up in the BPG development

The name and sign mean nothing. Sounds like there are a few good reviews, but I will need to be convinced. Unfortunately, this restaurant used to be The Only place to go and in the last several years, they have disappointed me way too many times. I'll reserve judgement until I have a chance to go back, but I might need to be dragged in kicking and screaming.
