There was no word on when the project is expected to be completed.

Construction at the new Beneficial Bank site on Paxon Hollow and Sproul roads is underway.

The former Broomall corn stand has been cleared away along with a few buildings also in the property.

There was no word on when the project is expected to be completed.

The Broomall Fire Co. acquired three structures on the property which had been scheduled for demolition and held several firefighter trainings there in September.

Simulated fire conditions, using theatrical smoke and smoke from smoldering wet straw in fire proof containers, were used during the trainings.

Now the property has been cleared and construction is set to begin.

In September 2012, Marple Township Board of Commissioners approved the building of a new Beneficial Mutual Savings Bank branch on the property.
