Albert's Interiors in Newtown Square Closing

According to the furniture store's website, it'll be going out of business after 33 years.

After 33 years of business, Albert's Interiors in Newtown Square will be going out of business. A nearby appliance store will be moving into the furniture store's location in the next several months.

Daniel McIntyre, partner at D & K Appliances at 3551 West Chester Pike, said D & K purchased the building in December.

"[Albert's Interiors] is leasing until they finish up with their sale," he said of the 3510 West Chester Pike location.

McIntyre said he estimates the furniture store will be around until March, but that deadline could be pushed back based on inventory needs.

After Albert's Interiors is out, he said, D & K Appliances will relocate to the new location and lease out its current location.
